Bom, temos muitas novidades, muitas mesmo.
Trump liga a Putin.
Syria’s leader, Russia’s Putin make first contact since al-Assad’s fall
Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has spoken to Syria’s interim leader Ahmad al-Sharaa, the first such top-level contact since the fall of former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
Rebels led by al-Sharaa’s Hayat Tahrir al-Sham group ousted Moscow’s close ally in December after a lightning offensive, and questions have remained over the fate of Russia’s two military bases in the war-torn country.
During the phone call on Wednesday, al-Sharaa emphasised “the strong strategic ties between the two countries and Syria’s openness to all parties” in a way that serves “the interests of the Syrian people and strengthens Syria’s stability and security”, a statement by the Syrian presidency said.
It also said Putin extended “an official invitation to Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani to visit Russia”.
“The Russian side emphasised its principled position in support of the unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Syrian state,” the Kremlin said in a statement.
Verdadeiramente impressionante.
'No obstacles' to Russian Red Sea base - Sudan
Sudan has said a final deal has been agreed with Russia to establish a naval base on the war-torn country's Red Sea coast, saying there were "no obstacles" to it.
An agreement was discussed under former President Omar al-Bashir, but the military government that overthrew him had later said the matter was under review.
Sudan's Foreign Minister Ali Youssef said on Wednesday a deal had been signed and they were in "complete agreement" with Russia over the establishment of the port. He said what remained was only the ratification of the deal.
"Sudan and Russia have reached an understanding on the agreement regarding the Russian naval base," Youssif told a press briefing on Wednesday with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov in Moscow.
"The matter is very simple… We have agreed on everything," he said.
A Argélia. Marrocos e Espanha devem estar "deliciados" com a notícia.
Algeria confirms purchase of Russian Su-57 fighter jets
On 12 February, Algerian state media confirmed that the Algerian Air Force had acquired Russian fifth-generation Su-57 fighter jets and that Algerian military personnel were being trained in Russia.
According to unconfirmed reports, it is expected that another 14 Su-57 fighters could replace the current MiG-25s, as these models will be handed over to the Russian Aerospace Forces to be sent to Algeria in the next decade.
The Air Force arsenal includes 63 Su-30MKA multi-role fighters and 40 MiG-29S/M/M2, 42 Su-24MK2 attack and reconnaissance aircraft and 16 Yak-130 training aircraft.33 Mi-24 Mk III and 42 Mi-28NE attack helicopters. The arrival of the Su-57s would represent a major advance that would reinforce its status as the most powerful air weapon in the region.
F-35 And Su-57 Face Off In IndiaRussian Su-57 Felon next-generation fighter sharing the tarmac with a U.S.-made F-35 stealth fighter is a truly unusual sight, and it has quickly become a signature image of the Aero India 2025 international airshow.
The first-ever such meeting on the ground between Su-57 and F-35A (two of which were sent to the airshow) occurred at Aero India over the weekend. The airshow is taking place at Air Force Station Yelahanka in Bengaluru, southwestern India, and is open to the public between Feb. 10-14.
At the opening of the show, the Indian Ministry of Defense published a statement that made a fairly direct reference to the presence of the rival fighters. “Aero India 2025 will provide a rare side-by-side comparison of Eastern and Western fifth-generation fighter technology, offering defense analysts, military personnel, and aviation enthusiasts valuable insights into their respective capabilities,” the ministry said.
