Vou focar aqui alguns:
China and Brazil Agree to Dump Dollar for Trade
China and Brazil have struck a deal to trade in their own currencies instead of the US dollar, the Brazilian government said on Wednesday, according to a report by AFP, which noted that the biggest economy in Latin America expected the agreement would reduce costs and spur greater bilateral trade and investment.
China is Brazil’s biggest trading partner, with a record US$150.5 billion in bilateral trade last year, according to the report, which said the deal followed a preliminary agreement in January, announced after a high-level China-Brazil business forum in Beijing. Officials said the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and Bank of Communications BBM would undertake the transactions.
China Settles First LNG Trade in Yuan in Latest Hit to Dollar
China’s national oil company CNOOC and France’s TotalEnergies had completed China’s first LNG trade settled in yuan.
Approximately 65,000 tonnes of LNG imported from the United Arab Emirates changed hands in the trade, it said in a statement.
TotalEnergies confirmed to Reuters that the transaction involved LNG imported from the UAE but did not comment further.
The state-owned Global Times quoted Chinese oil experts who hailed yuan settlement of international LNG trades as “a major event in China’s market-oriented oil and gas reform”, with a CNOOC manager saying it would help “build a diversified ecosystem for LNG trading”...
Russia has, not surprisingly, increasingly embraced the yuan amid Western sanctions imposed after it invaded Ukraine in February 2022.
During a visit to the Saudi capital Riyadh in December President Xi Jinping announced that China would “make full use” of the Shanghai exchange as a platform to carry out yuan settlements of oil and gas trades.
Saudi Arabia open to trading in currencies besides the US dollar
China has called for Saudi Arabia to price oil sales in yuan, a move that could dent the dollar's dominance.
During a visit to the Gulf in December, Chinese President Xi Jinping told Arab leaders that Beijing would push to buy oil and gas in yuan, as it looks to position its currency for use in international trade.
Saudi Arabia, like other Gulf states, has pegged its currency to the dollar for decades.
Saudi Arabia announced its first annual budget surplus in nearly a decade.
Saudi Arabia takes step to join China-led security bloc, as ties with Beijing strengthen
Saudi Arabia’s cabinet approved a decision to join a China-led security bloc, strengthening Riyadh’s eastern ties in a further step away from U.S. interests.
Saudi interests have long been intertwined with those of leading SCO members China and Russia. Beijing is Riyadh’s largest trading partner, with bilateral trade worth $87.3 billion in 2021, according to Reuters.
Separately, Riyadh is a close ally of Russia in the crude oil production policies of the OPEC+ coalition.
Iran to invite Saudi king to Tehran as Raisi invited to Riyadh
Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz has sent an invitation letter to Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi asking him to pay a visit to Riyadh.
“We will also send a similar invitation to the King of Saudi Arabia,” Amir Abdollahian told Al Jazeera on Monday.
Tehran and Riyadh reached an agreement in early March to resume diplomatic relations after years of hostility. The talks were brokered by China.
According to the National, Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Tuesday that his country is ready to support a follow-up process between Saudi Arabia and Iran to restore diplomatic relations.
Xi, Putin agree to deepen comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination for new era

P.S.
